UV Curing Tester UV CURE CHECK
You check the hardening degree of your prints on the spot in the delivery of your printing press enabling you to recognise well in time the insuffi cient degree of hardening of your products.
The UV CURE CHECK UV curing tester determines the coe cient of sliding friction and the curing degree of ink and varnish layers on printed sheets, that have been printed with UV-inks, hybrid inks or UV varnishes.
The device is intended for tests on a measuring table, the control panel or on the pile carried out not only in solid areas but also in the ordinary printed image.
As an effective early-warning system the UV CURE CHECK signals in time if, for instance, harmful migrations escape from the sheet or if inks are blocking and smearing during print fi nishing or transport. It helps to optimise the radiator output to save power and to work environmentally friendly.
Working principle
Determination and indication of the coefficient of sliding friction between the ink or varnish surface and the friction body.
The coefficient of sliding friction is proportionate to the hardening degree of the ink.
The indicated degree of hardening is calculated from the ratio of the coefficient of sliding friction of a completely hardened sample and the sample to be checked.
