Pressure Gauge NIP CONTROL
Small and easy-to-operate device for the measurement of the distance between the surfaces of hard/soft paired rollers or cylinders. The device is easy to calibrate and indispensable for assembly work and service of roller pairs.
The NIP CONTROL pressure gauge measures the pressure between hard and soft rollers. It is preferably used for assembly work and service of inking and damping units.
To measure a feeler gauge is positioned between the two rollers and pressure is turned on.
The NIP CONTROL has been designed for typical uniformly distributed loads of up to 2000 N/m, ≤ 60 Shore A rubber hardness, and roller diameters ≤ 200 mm. It is an indispensable hand-held device with considerably reduced operating functions: Pressing the on/off button – and NIP CONTROL supplies measured values. There is simply no easier way to measure pressure.
Working principle
Signals of sensors are evaluated that are positioned between hard/soft paired rollers. The sensors are positioned by means of an on/off function or with the press in inching operation. The rollers do not move during the measuring operation. The uniformly distributed load is digitally indicated in N/m as a measure of the pressure between the rollers related to a defined roller length.
