Gap Gauge GAP CONTROL
Small and easy-to-operate device for the measurement of the distance between the surfaces of hard/hard-paired rollers or cylinders with a measuring wedge. The device has been designed for in the printing industry typical diameters and gaps.
The gap gauge GAP CONTROL is a technical innovation, which makes the day-to-day machine assembly easier.
Especially the easy handling is remarkable: Once the measuring wedge is positioned in between the hard / hard-paired rollers or cylinders, the measuring values will be shown on the display of the device. Due to its high measuring accuracy and measuring speed the GAP CONTROL replaces the end gauge and the feeler gauge. There is simply no easier way to measure distances.
Working principle
Sensors on a measuring wedge, that is inserted up to the end stop between hard / hard paired cylinders, register the position of the contact with the cylinder surfaces. The cylinder distance in mm is calculated from the contact position. The cylinders are not moved during the measuring operation.
